Fucking Rage II

by ragingcrip

Fucking rage is now all over UK. Although there are small islands like the City of London or Windsor Castle, where rage has been transformed to cynicism, fucking rage is now in every area of the country. Even so, the rage has not yet matured, its still got many months to grow until the whole British people get off their arses and fucking do something.

Here are seven recent cases. They are no longer remarkable, they are from all over UK.
Malcolm Graham: Malcolm Graham was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer in September 2013 and applied for Personal Independence Payments (PIP). Eight months later he was still waiting, despite calling government offices almost every day, and had fallen into debt. During that time he endured 10 weeks of chemotherapy and a 10-hour operation.
Kelly Marie Lennon – Kelly Marie – who is blind and unable to walk and talk – faces losing her sensory room, which is also used to store her wheelchair. Her mother, who has had to cut down on food, cannot afford to pay the bedroom tax on it.
Lyn Ward – Lyn had a mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiotherapy for breast cancer. She was forced back to work just days after finishing radiotherapy because her application for a PIP 11 months earlier had not even been acknowledged.
Graham Rollinson: Graham, a Royal Mail delivery driver with motor neurone disease, only received a PIP after his MP intervened, seven months after his diagnosis. Graham said: “Its like hitting your head against a brick wall. You’re ringing an 0845 number and put on hold for 30 minutes. Then you see IDS on the telly saying everything’s working”.
Tim Salter – Tim was partially sighted and suffered from agoraphobia. He was found hanged at his home just days before he was due to be evicted over rent arrears. The coroner concluded: “A major factor in his death was that his state benefits had been greatly reduced leaving him almost destitute and with threatened repossession of his home”.
Mark Wood – Mark was ruled fit for work against the advice of his GP and despite having complex mental health conditions. He weighed 5 and a half stone before he died of starvation.
Sheila Holt – Sheila had a severe mental health condition, but was pushed onto a government work programme, with no support from specialist services, and also had to start paying the bedroom tax. As she began falling into poverty she became increasingly agitated, and eventually was sectioned. A few days later, at the age of 47, she had a heart attack and went into a coma.

I don’t mind Blunkett, he signed EDM620 after the third letter. He’s starting to feel the fucking rage as he contemplates the soaring rise of food bank use in Sheffield: http://www.thestar.co.uk/news/local/blunkett-demands-action-as-food-bank-usage-soars-1-6723504 With ten months still to go, Blunkett will find out what rage really is.

Despite being repeatedly attacked by the ganufs at Westminster, disabled people are also forced to suffer repeated disability hate crimes as fucking bastards attack people in broad daylight on a regular basis. Look at this poor bastard in Newcastle upon Tyne, reading it gives me fucking rage: http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/homeless-man-describes-horrific-beating-3861668

There was a Tory reshuffle which is a rare moment of truth. IDS had to stay as I thought, he’s really important as the hatchet man and Political Scrapbook hit the nail on the head about the reason they want him to stay: http://politicalscrapbook.net/2014/07/iain-duncan-smith-stays-at-dwp-in-reshuffle/ What’s important about the reshuffle isn’t the few women, and the McVey woman is barely human anyhow. The important thing is the lurch to the right: http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2012/sep/04/david-cameron-government-reshuffle-cabinet The lurch to the right will have serious repercussions for the class war. It is certain to lead to the further recess of shit creek. In particular the useless trout Truss has been promoted to Environment Secretary: http://www.politics.co.uk/comment-analysis/2014/07/15/liz-truss-a-not-very-green-environment-secretary. It will be her wearing the rubber boots and looking sad at the next round of flooding, as ¾ of UK flood defences are ‘inadequately maintained’: http://www.aspirationenergy.co.uk/blog/2014/07/10/england-still-at-risk-from-climate-change/ While various ministers have changed there is no change at all to the policies of this government. Take education for example, we now have the toffee nosed klutz Nicky Morgan. Her voting record tells us which side her bread is buttered. Among her other highlights, she voted strongly for reducing the rate of corporation tax and voted strongly against a banker’s bonus tax. She voted in favour of £9,000 tuition fees and strongly favours academies and so-called ‘free’ schools. http://www.leftfootforward.org/2014/07/gove-may-be-gone-but-his-legacy-is-in-safe-hands/#more-86649 So, while less hated than the Gove freak, she’s still a waste of space.

Alan Bennett is on our side. He said this recently in a sermon at King’s College Cambridge: “Unlike today’s ideologues, whom I would call single-minded if mind came into it at all, I have no fear of the state. I was educated at the expense of the state both at school and university. My father’s life was saved by the state as on one occasion was my own. This would be the nanny state, a sneering appellation that gets short shrift with me. Without the state I would not be standing here today. I have no time for the ideology masquerading as pragmatism that would strip the state of its benevolent functions and make them occasions for profit. And why roll back the state only to be rolled over by the corporate entities that have been allowed, nay encouraged, to take its place? I am uneasy when prisons are run for profit or health services either. The rewards of probation and the alleviation of suffering are human profits and nothing to do with balance sheets. And these days no institution is immune. In my last play the Church of England is planning to sell off Winchester Cathedral. ‘Why not?’ says a character. ‘The school is private, why shouldn’t the cathedral be also?’ And it’s a joke but it’s no longer far-fetched”.
